Bonney: Buddy Lake (See Photo Below) |
Description Buddy Lake is about 10-acres of water consisting of two main water bodies that is connected by a very narrow and shallow channel. The main area was built about 40 years ago and has depth up to 10 ft. The second area was built about 30 years ago and is mostly shallow with a lot of cover. Florida and native bass were stocked 12 years ago, and 60,000 forage fish were stocked in 1999. The largest bass to date is 10 lbs. There is not good bank fishing, but there is a 10ft jon boat and a canoe available for members to use, and there is a good sloping bank to launch a small two man boat. |
