Butler: McCants Mill Pond (See Photo Below) |
Description This gorgeous 95 acre lake is known for producing large double digit bass. It looks like a fishermen’s paradise with plenty of wooded structure, lily pads, vegetation, creek channels and shallow flats. The bass are extremely healthy with a high growth rate. It is not a high numbers lake right now, but you have the opportunity for a trophy bass. Now that the lake is under AFGC control and management the catch numbers will increase from year to year. This lake so much potential that we expect it to be one the the finest private lakes in the state of Georgia by 2008, but don’t let that stop you from fishing it now. This lake has plenty of big fish to be caught. Jon boats are available for club members and there is a concrete boat ramp for larger boats. |
General Directions 35 minutes Southwest of Macon. |
