Jefferson: Flag Lakes (See Photo Below) |
Description Jefferson: The Flag Lakes site is comprised of four water bodies of varying size and depth. The first pond is a very deep and clear half-acre spring fed pond, which was stocked ten years ago with Floridas. The size of this pond limits use to bank casting and wading. The second lake is about two and a half acres, also very deep and clear. This pond has submerged structure of stumps and trees, and some cover along the banks, as well as a footbridge. Small boats with no motors are allowed on this pond. Lake number three is a four-acre tank with a variety of submerged structure, including several tractors and farm equipment. This lake was also stocked ten years ago with Floridas. Low coverage around the tank allows for easy boat access, and small boats are permitted on this lake. Lake number four is a three-acre lake, which was also stocked with Foridas ten years ago. This tank has light submerged structure and some cover around the banks. Again, small boats are also permitted on this lake. There is no club boat available at this site. |
